Ways to Wear Color

If I had a dollar for every time I heard, "I can't or don't wear color", I'd be a very wealthy women wearing very expensive shoes.  But since dollar bills are not being tossed in my direction (now that I think about it  - that would put me in more of the stripper profession), I'll give you a few quick tips on how to wear color in your everyday life.

1.  Tone on Tone
Pick a color and build your outfit from that family.

2.  Pop of Color
Make a statement using color as your focal point.  Could be colored denim or shorts.  Or choose an accessory to add color to your outfit.

3. Color block
Remember this post?  The simple solution is to choose 1 or 2 contrasting hues so you don't look like you got dressed in the dark.  Take the guess work out by buying one that is already designed for you.

Stripe Obsession

Last year when I debuted the top trends for Spring here, stripes were all the rage.  A year later they are still going strong and I just can't seem to get enough of them.

Back to Neon

Remember this post - Neon Brights?  Well, the neon trend is still hanging on and I decided to try it "mommy style".

Our Sunday School class had an Easter Egg hunt for the kiddos last week.  I felt like I should dress for the part and that I did.  My inspiration came from a fellow (yet younger) blogger named Kendi.
